There are dozens of exercises to choose from that engage muscles in the arms, shoulders, chest and back. Exercises can be Sagittal, Frontal and/ or Transverse. Upper Body is often combined with Lower Body Compound exercises like Squats or Lunges, which use many muscles in the legs and lower body as well as the core and lower back. Using combos that work the upper and lower body at the same time will burn more calories, improve flexibility, and increase strength and muscle mass.
