Warm Up

Center Floor

According to ACE (The American Council on Exercise), a warm up should be 5 - 10 minutes long to adequately prepare the body for the work ahead.

Additionally, it should be extended if the conditioning segment is very intense, as in a HIIT Barre Fusion.

Furthermore, it’s important consider the demographic of participants and adjust the warm up accordingly. Active aging, de-conditioned or those recovering from injury will need an extended warm up.

Main Objectives

  1. Dynamic movement in all three (3) Planes of Motion: Sagittal, Frontal, Transverse.

  2. Stretch muscles to prevent injury.

  3. Preview the workout; Rehearse the moves to set participants up for success.
